Amanda graduated as an Oral Health Therapist after she obtained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2011. After that, she went on to work with School Dental Service at various primary and secondary schools, attending to the dental needs of children and teenagers. In May 2013, she made a career move to work in Omni Dental Centre.
Amanda’s responsibilities in the dental team include giving dental education to children and adults, teaching them how to brush and floss their teeth, providing diet advice, and keeping tooth decay and gum diseases at bay. She also performs scaling and polishing, simple gum treatment, and oral health maintenance for children and adults. She is also competent at doing fillings, extractions, and fluoride treatment for children.
Amanda enjoys interacting with patients of all ages. She finds great satisfaction in seeing her patients’ oral hygiene improve so that they keep their teeth healthier for longer.
